Decide to win: Using the word against the temptation of the enemy

Ladies the word taken from Matthew 4 reminds us that we can win with Jesus. Jesus being led by the Spirit was brought to a place where he was to be tempted by the devil. We are able to see that Jesus resisted the devil and he had to flee. The word written is what was used as the weapon. And guess what, that word is for us to use today. The truth came and we know that the offer from the devil is not able to surpass the promise of God. So don't take the bread! Don't fall for the riches and the glory of men! It's a set up. Decide to win by the way of Christ.

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil. For forty days and forty nights he fasted and became very hungry. During that time the devil came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.” But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ” Matthew 4:1‭-‬4 NLT
